The McKinley family opened the doors of American Driver Training Academy in 2002. After owning and operating trucking and transport businesses for decades, they quickly came to realize that the biggest challenge in the transportation industry is hiring skilled drivers. This realization ignited a passion for training and delivering the best student drivers in the industry. They had one simple goal in mind: create safe truck drivers that would be recognized by carriers nationwide as graduates proudly declare, “I trained at American Driver Training Academy!”
American Driver Training Academy is proud to be a woman owned business. Director and CEO, Jaden McKinley, contributes the success of her school to the amazing 11 professionals that make up Team ADTA! Each Instructor holds a CDL Class-A and has 20-30 years driving experience. The ADTA team members treat students like family throughout their training and career. Their ultimate goal is the success of their students and this is reflected in their Lifetime Job Placement policy. Every day the Academy puts new truck drivers to work though long-standing partnerships with nearly 100 companies nationwide! Those recruiting companies have reviewed our course addendum and graduate’s safety records and know that an American Driver Training Academy graduate will make a quality addition to their trucking operation.
To uphold the skill and safety training principals the Academy was founded upon, we go above and beyond industry standards. We invest more so students get the skills they need to succeed in the real-world as commercial truck drivers.
